Any extra cost due to any unforeseen condition, such as delay/cancellation of flight, natural calamity, political unrest etc nature wanderers would not be responsible for the cancellation of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to [email protected]. The date of the mail would be considered for calculation of the cancellation fee.

Refund policy:

  • 50% fee to be refunded if cancellation is done between 50 days prior to the event
  • No refund if cancellation is done between 0-50 days of the event.

The magical winter forest of Corbett National Park in the Himalayan foothills is one of the most dramatic wilderness you can ever witness as a photographer. The soft morning mist mingling with the early morning light and the ample amount of photographic opportunities Corbett can offer will ensure that each day in the field is productive from a photography perspective. The sudden burst of cheetal alarm calls sets the forest on alert as a vibrant Royal Bengal Tiger silently passes through the dense saal canopies of this mysterious forest.

Jagdeep Rajput is India's most veteran wildlife photographer with 35 years of experience out of which he has spent over 20 years of his life photographing the wildlife of Corbett National Park. Jagdeep Rajput has made India proud on an international platform by winning key awards like BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Nature's Best on multiple occasions.

What will be the key take aways for me from an NW photo tour?

I do not posses the adequate equipments to shoot wildlife. Can I still be a part of an NW photo tour?

Equipments can't restrict you from participating in our photo tour. You can touch base with the NW team for possible equipment rental options and we would try to equip you adequately based on the nature of the program you are enrolling for.

What is the onfield value add I get from NW?

NW programs are backed by strong field analysis and locations surveys. Our team spends maximum time in the wilderness and is up-to-date with sighting reports because which we are able to plan out the photo tour effectively. In addition to this, you can bug our experienced photography escorts and trainers with your photography queries - be it field tips, basic or advanced photography queries, post processing of images etc.

What all is included in the package?

In case of established national parks, NW ensures the best of facilities in the form of comfortable rooms and the best in class safari experience. However whenever infrastructure is an issue, we try to give the best of what is avaialble. Photography is our key focus and we do not compromise on that part. Our endeavor has always been to give our participants the maximum productive field time.

What is the cancellation policy in case I want to back out from a trip?

Cancellation for an event to be conveyed through mail/ sending letter to our registererd address. For cancellations please write to us at [email protected] . For all eligible cases refund would be processed as per below slabs within 2 weeks of receipt of communication through credit note/ credit to bank account. For more details on refund & cancellations please refer Terms & Conditions section on our website.

Refund policy:

  • 50% fee to be refunded if cancellation is done between 50 days prior to the event
  • 30% fee to be refunded if cancellation is done days 30 prior to the event
  • No refund if cancellation is done between 0-30 days of the event.
February 7th

Pick up from Ramnagar station for participants reaching by the morning train will be arranged. Participants using their own car for travel to Ramnagar will be given a meeting point and should reach Ramnagar by 5:30AM in the morning. The entire group will be entering the Dhikala zone (Dhangadi gate) by 6:45AM.

As soon as you enter the park gate, we head off for our first safari enroute the Dhikala Forest House. The picturesque saal forest that runs alongside the Ramganga river makes this one of the most beautiful drives in the park. The route has plenty of bird and landscape photography opportunities as we pass through some of the prime tiger territories of Corbett.

11:00AM check-in at Dhikala guest house and post lunch, an evening safari in Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park under the guidance of our field photography expert - Shivang Mehta. Evenings can be utilized for photography discussions and review of your days work. In case you are a beginner in photography our field photography mentor can have a dedicated session on the basics of photography during the evening.

February 8th & 9th

A morning safari in the Dhikala zone wherein you would be taken to various area of the park according to the sightings and movement patterns and ofcourse your wildlife interest. Breakfast would be served at the campus by 9:30AM post which you can spend the pre-noon hours on a watchtower or machaan in the middle of the forest. Post lunch at the Dhikala campus, we head out for the evening safari in Dhikala.

Your drives would be planned meticulously by our photography team keeping in consideration the wildlife movements and the light situations in various areas of the park so that you can maximise your photo opportunities.

Overnight stay in Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park

February 10th

Early morning safari in Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park. Post breakfast at 9:30AM you would be checking out of the campus by 10:30AM and after spending the noon hours on a machaan (watchtower), you would be going for the last evening safari in Dhikala and head out to the Dhangadi gate (exit by 4:30PM) again traversing through the mystic saal forest for your onwards journey to Delhi.
