Wild Clicks Season 11
Ranthambore National Park
January 3th –7th, 2027
India’s most awaited wildlife photography contest returns with its 11th edition—set in one of the country’s most iconic landscapes, Ranthambore National Park.
Are you passionate about wildlife photography and storytelling?
Wild Clicks is India’s only live wildlife photography contest, where you don’t just submit work – you create it in real time, in the field.
Over four immersive days, you will:
- Shoot alongside a talented cohort of photographers
- Learn from some of India’s finest wildlife photography mentors
- Be evaluated live by a distinguished jury panel
After 16 years, Wild Clicks returns to Ranthambore – bringing with it a rare opportunity to create, compete, and evolve in one of the world’s most celebrated tiger landscapes.
It all started in 2010, when Wild Clicks emerged as India’s first Live Photo Contest with a vision to reward on the spot creativity. The concept was essentially a field challenge where contestants gathered in one location and were mentored by some of the leading photographers of India and an on-site jury comprising leading photographers, film makers and conservationists from across the country. Over the years, Wild Clicks grew from merely a contest to a tool to promote wildlife tourism in upcoming wildlife locations of India where we worked with government bodies and forest departments to use the power of photography for development of Eco-tourism in lesser known destinations.
Wild Clicks has been nominated as the Wildlife Promotion Activity of the Year thrice at the ToFT Tourism Awards (2014, 2018 and 2025). Over the past few years Wild Clicks has played an instrumental role in inducing photographers to think beyond singular images and become effective storytellers by developing the art of weaving images together to formulate powerful and impactful photo stories as per a defined theme.

The Story of Ranthambore
It’s India’s most celebrated national park and for years the photographic focus of Ranthambore has been the iconic tigers of this forest. For decades photographers have loved following the legacy and lineage of tigers generation after generation.
However the current success story of Ranthambore has been due to the long standing conservation efforts of the forest department and some powerful voices who have not just been the voices for Ranthambore but also tigers of India at large.
The story of Ranthambore is also about it’s uniqueness as a habitat and it’s historical lineage as it’s one of the few places in India where over years we have seen a unique blend of ancient history and natural history.
Tigers are deep rooted in the culture of Ranthambore and Sawai Madhopur – from art to artefacts, from stories of transformation of traditional hunting communities to successful translocation of villages to create inviolate spaces for wildlife, from creation of a viable tourism infrastructure that makes tiger tourism run as an organised industry to growth and expansion of tourism beyond the gamut of tigers – Ranthambore has seen it all and is still evolving as we speak.
Wild Clicks Season 11 in Ranthambore is all about showcasing your talent as a photographer – but this time not to showcase the beauty and grace of a tiger – but by depicting various factors which define Ranthambore as the world’s hotspot for tigers and their conservation.
Your photo story of Ranthambore needs to depict the following:
- Ancient history of Ranthambhore
- Conservation history of the landscape
- Communities & cultures with deep rooted presence of tigers as a part of that culture
- Faces and personalities who have shaped the history of Ranthambore
- The future of Ranthambore
All participants will be divided into three groups, each assigned curated field experiences:
- Visit to Ranthambore Fort
- 3 guided safaris (Zones 3 & 4 – canter)
For the first time, participants will also have the freedom to design their own storytelling journey—planning additional shoots in and around Sawai Madhopur to build a unique narrative.
January 3rd, 2027, with registrations at 10:00 AM followed by the inauguration at 11:00 AM. After lunch, participants will take part in a field activity. The evening will include talks on photography, conservation, and storytelling, along with a mentorship session.
January 4th & 5th, 2027 the schedule continues with morning and evening field activities on both days. All meals during this period will be provided at the resort.
January 6th 2027 features a morning field session, after which participants are required to submit their final images by 12:00 PM. The day concludes with a networking dinner in the evening.
January 7th 2027 with an awards ceremony at 7:00 AM, followed by checkout at 9:00 AM.
Craft your idea
Apart from the safari sessions which the Wild Clicks team would be organising for you, for the first time a Wild Clicks 11 contestant can dedicate 3 sessions during the contest and plan those sessions in a way which best suits your story. This gives the contestant the freedom to work on a photo story.
Here is a list of activities and ideas you can plan for your own regarding the story of Ranthambore. However our jury and mentors recommend that we not be fixated to our suggestions. Plan & research the theme and you can then develop ideas beyond our suggested list. For any logistical support needed for planning these shoots, you can contact the Wild Clicks team and we shall introduce you directly to the vendors (cabs, field staff etc.)
- Ranthambore School of Arts
