A mystic saal forest with mist swirling through the dense saal canopies, a grassland that turns gold in morning winter light and a river that sparkles with a tinge of blue as a layer of mist floats over it revealing her innate beauty. That is the flavour of a winter morning in Corbett National Park and Nature Wanderers for 2 decades has been ensuring that our guests and photographers make the best of these winter moods in India’s oldest national park.
Join us for our winter photo safari in Corbett where it’s not just about the tigers, elephants and the other iconic wildlife you will get to witness. It’s about creating a portfolio of dramatic images that truly capture the winter magic of Corbett landscape.
Arrival at Ramnagar by 08:00 AM for 10:00 AM entry into the Dhangari Gate of Corbett National Park. The drive from Dhangari is a picturesque Sal forest alongside the Ramganga river and after a 30km safari you reach the Dhikala forest rest house in the heart of the jungle which will be your base camp for the next few days. Be prepared for any surprises during this drive as the area is rich in birdlife and wildlife including tigers & elephants.
Check in at the Dhikala forest rest house (as per forest department rules and timings) and post lunch we would head for another safari in the company of the Nature Wanderers photography expert.Evening session on photography and dinner at the Dhikala canteen.

Extensive morning and evening safaris with the Nature Wanderers expert who would be swapping vehicles and joining you for personalized safari experience and photography guidance. Lunch and dinner would be at the Dhikala campus. In order to maximize your safari experience, carry some quick safari snacks so that your morning safari can be prolonged, and you don't have to go back to the campus for a bite.
Post the morning safari and breakfast, check out from Dhikala by noon and departure to the Dhangari gate. Drop would be facilitated to Ramnagar post which you can plan your return journey.
The masterclass and one on one review sessions will help you develop an understanding of usage of light, experiments with composition and strike a balance between science and creativity in wildlife photography. The post processing sessions will help you develop your processing skills as a photographer. Regular interactions with the NW photo guide are always helpful in your overall enhancement as a wildlife photographer.
Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to info@naturewanderers.com. The date of the mail would be considered for calculation of the cancellation fee.
