Wildlife Tiger Photography in Bandhavgarh National Park

    The royalty of India has frequented this national park, and there is a reason to it. Known as the hub for Royal Bengal Tigers, Bandhavgarh National Park is considered one of the best locations for tiger photography. The National Park consists of mixed vegetation ranging from tall grasslands to thick Sal forest making it the perfect habitat for a variety of animals and birds. Due to its varied topography, the Bandhavgarh national park provides ample opportunity to spot the majestic Indian tiger and some rarely seen animals like leopard and sloth bear.

    Areas like Ghoda Demon and the upper lying areas in Tala receive divine light early morning and evening and its a dream to see and shoot a tiger in that scenario

    Best Time to visit Bandhavgarh National Park:

    For tiger photography - March to June
    For landscape and bird photography: Winter months

    Equipment needed:

    Focal ranges till 300mm are ideal. The 200-400mm Canon or Nikon variant is great as you get the required flexibility to shoot mammals. 70-200mm is a great lens for shooting tigers in their natural habitat.
