Patended as India’s Only Live Wildlife Photography Contest, Wild Clicks is a brain child of Nature Wanderers and is designed to test the skills of amateur photographers in a live format wherein participants are given themes to shoot and since wildlife photography is all about moments this is a test of who is more sensitive towards moments when surrounded with similar moments in the wild. The most important aspects of this contest is out of the box thinking and a creative perspective.
It all started as a small initiative in 2010 in Corbett National Park and since then there has been there has been no stopping. With 8 successful editions, Wild Clicks has become one of the most sought after wildlife photography contest with amazing response from contestants, media and the wildlife fraternity of India. From a contestants point of view it is just not a contest as photographers from across the country get to learn. and interact with the best in the field of wildlife and photography throughout the duration of the event. Wild Clicks has helped us to find and nurture some of the finest young photographic talents of India.
On an average Wild Clicks has garnered a participation of 70 contestants and the past 8 editions have been organised in some of India's best tiger parks like Corbett, Dudhwa, Ranthambhore, Pench (Maharashtra) and Satpura, to name a few.
Canon India has been the constant pillar of support throughout the 8 editions of Wild Clicks and hence the contest is popularly known as CANON Wild Clicks. In addition to Canon, leading brands like ISUZU Motors, National Geographic, Wildcraft, Mankind Pharma, Manfrotto and SanDisk have been associated with the event in the past editions.
